Wasn't there any planning application? Didn't South Northants Council put out any sort of public consultation? Worth asking if the consultation period is up or whether you can still complain. I've seen this sort of thing before. Most councils in the south Midlands are being pressurised into allowing developments - a few, such as Dunstable, are resisting - worth getting onto your councillors? At least they should be ensuring that there is access to the country for those who are being imprisoned! I've seen some Towcester developments - in the tonw itself - pretty intensive with no gardens just a few car parking spaces ... sad.
