For me my Bird Of the Day has to be this Grey Wagtail.
I was helping in-laws in North Wales putting up an awning on their caravan. At the first opportunity I escaped with my camera. I walked up the road towards the village. I just happened to look left and saw this wagtail bobbing about in a small stream. There was nothing to lean on, so it took it hand held and hoped for the best. I tried to get a bit closer, but he saw me and flew away. I am happy with it because it is the nearest I have ever got to a wagtail.
