Re: Canon Lens Warranty Update

ebay has some great sellers and have been very professional and provided a tip top service to me and also a very good deal and I would shop with him again. So lets get it straight ebay traders are not under attack in any way. My worry has been a dodgy lens with movement and hood problems....If the lens continued to show more movement then I will as I am sure all people would get a replacement by whatever means is possible. Being new to photography I was unaware of the Ring movement problem facing canon users. This now means the lens will come back fixed and the ring movement is acceptable....If you see it from my view I have spent in my terms a lot of money on a duff product....Yes its bad luck but that does not make it easy to swallow.....And also worrying that the lens is a factory duff prompted me to want a new lens and start fresh......I think this is completely understandable...However with this said now the ring prob has been aired I feel more confident that its not "just me" and with canon fixing my lens I feeling a bit better........You could call it bad luck or you could call it another word I wont use...Either way thanks for the input on O ring probs....

Ian
