| Re: Canon Lens Warranty Update The sale of goods act states quite clearly that goods must be fit for purpose and that it is the responsibilty of the retailer to ensure that. He may choose whether to send the goods for repair or replace them, but either way you are protected under law. If the goods cannot be satisfactorily repaired, they must be replaced. Incidentally, under European law - and applicable in the country, all goods sold must have a warranty of 2 years - a law which has been kept very quiet! |
