On the subject of pedigree or mongrel.. I have one of each, both rescue dogs.. the longhaired chihuahua is absolutly wonderful as is the jack russell cross. I have to say that as far as health concerns go.. the chichi is much more delicate. The JR is as robust as they come. The are both utterly gorgeous little animals.. but I am of course, biased
