Oddly enough, I don't have a problem with anything like that. I can, and have despatched Rabbits and Chickens for the table, plucking/skinning and cleaning them before cooking them. It's just the British thing in me I 'spose; dogs are usually pets and part of the family. (yes, I know not everyone feels the same way)
