Forum Frequently Asked Questions
Why Can't I Change my Profile?
Members can only change their profile and add a signature once they have made a minimum of 25 posts. This limit has been put in place to stop the
new members who were joining the site to simply advertise their own website and link from
their profile without contribtuing to the community.
What are the Forum Rules?
We do not aim to censor posts as long as they fall inside the rules and guidelines. We welcome debate and views expressed from every angle, and we do not take a stance for or against any wildlife or environment topic. However, we ask that all political discussions be kept relatively light-hearted.
We reserve the right to move, modify or delete posts or threads, without explanation, and may take further action to disable the offender's account at the discretion of the moderators.
How can I put images in forum posts?
Images in the forum must be linked from the Wild About Britain Gallery, or the Wild About Britain Image Library, and not external websites.

Can I Post External Links?
In common with most sites, Wild About Britain contains links to external websites...and like most sites we don't want to see lots of spam. Essentially, we're keen to help promote wildlife and environment websites around the UK, but we also want to control the type and amount of links posted on the site because:

If a member breaks the rules, or appears to have broken the rules, then
their account will be frozen until we are satisfied that any related
issue has been addressed and rectified.
Why do users have titles?
When a member makes a post their post count goes up. At certain milestones their title will change to:

Just a bit of fun
