Description: 

A poisonous fungus that is yellowish-brown in colour and found in grassland, roadsides or on wood chips from Summer till Autumn.

Habitat: 

Grassland, wood chips and on roadsides.

Cap: 

Yellow-brown, convex to conical-umbonate, smooth surface.

Flesh: 

Odour and taste not distinctive.

Gills: 

Sinuate-adnate, pallid to rust-brown, broad and crowded.

Stem: 

Yellow to yellow-orange coloured, equal with a distinct ring near the apex.

Additional Notes: 

This fungus contains toxins similar to that of Amanita virosa - the Destroying Angel.
