Infrequent from late Summer till Autumn.
On rotten wood in overlapping groups.
Ligulate, smooth, white to cream in colour, occasionally faintly striate towards the margin.
Thin, brittle, soft, whitish becoming buff.
Decurrent, crowded, initially whitish, becoming buff.
Basic, white, rudimentary stem.
Inedible.
