Description: 

A white or cream, fan or kidney shaped fungus found growing on branches, twigs or logs in coniferous woodland.

Distribution: 

Rare, from Summer till Autumn.

Habitat: 

Coniferous woodland of twigs, branches logs and stumps.

Cap: 

White to cream coloured, pinkish tinge in mature specimens, renifirm or fan-shaped, smooth with peelable skin.

Flesh: 

Thin, white and rubbery. Odour and taste not distinctive

Gills: 

Adnate, narrow, white or cream, crowded and have gelatinous edges.

Stem: 

Lateral or rudimentary, finely fibrilose, floccose when dry, concolorous with the cap, ring absent.

Additional Notes: 

Inedible.
