A small and fragile fungus with a brownish-yellow cap commonly found on soil in grass ar the edges of woodland.
Campanulate becoming convex with age, ochraceous-brown and glistening slightly when dry, sulcate almost to the centre.
Cap flesh is thin, fragile and pallid. Stem flesh is fragile and concolorous.
Adnexed, crowded, ochraceous-brown.
Fragile, darker than the cap, particularly below, ring absent.
Frequent from Summer till Autumn.
Found growing at the edges of woods and in parks.
