A small fungus with a conical cap and long stem found growing in grassland, sand dunes and roadside verges.

Distribution: 

Uncommon from late Summer till Autumn.

Habitat: 

Grassland, wood chips, roadside verges and sand dunes.

Cap: 

Conical or bell-shaped, yellowish-cream to whitish,

Flesh: 

Thin.

Gills: 

Cinnamon coloured.

Stem: 

White, powdery near the apex, bulbous base.

Additional Notes: 

Inedible.
