Distribution: 

Infrequent but locally common from late Summer till Autumn.

Habitat: 

Short grassland or turf.

Cap: 

Orange-yellow or yellow, paler tip, club-shaped, unbranched, slender and smooth blunt or slightly forked at the tip.

Flesh: 

Fragile, soft and yellow.

Inedible.
