Description

A medium sized bird of prey with broad wings. A shortish fan shaped tail. The common buzzard is renowned for its variation in plumage. Variations include very pale, light, medium, dark and very dark plumage! Adult underparts are barred, juveniles are more streaked. The Common buzzard is often seen soaring on shaped wings

Diet

Mostly small mammals including rabbits, voles, shews, and mice. Also feeds on carrion, amphibians and lizards.
