Calliphoridae Description
This is not as commonly seen as C. vicina, which often frequents gardens. C. vomitoria has a black face with a red beard and a yellowish spiracle, where C. vicina has a reddish face with a black beard and an orange spiracle.
Beware of young or aged specimens as the colours can vary.
