Description: 

This is a small perennial plant with simple, downy stems that grow prostrate to the ground. The stems have leaves with lobes growing along its length and the flowers, which are very small, are white with red veins, in a capitate head. The seeds are contained in pods that are jointed, resembling a birds foot.

Distribution: 

Locally common.

Habitat: 

Grows on bare gravelly or sandy areason mountain hillsides and in lowlands and has been known to grow on walls.
