Whilst photographing the snail shells, this beetle scuttled out of one of them. It is too small to be an adult Devil's coach horse, but it might be an instar, Otherwise, there are plenty of other rove beetle species living in the UK. The problem is which one?
All I can say is that it is Rove beetle shaped. |
