Is this a Pintail in eclipse plumage, or a Pintail x ? Hybrid? Seen at Abbotsbury Swannery (Dorset) on the 10th July.

Juvenile male pintail or adult male pintail in moult/eclipse - but a whole pintail I reckon!

Thanks PMG. I started a thread with it on and I was told that it was an adult in eclipse plumage. I'm not too fussed on the age, I'm just very pleased it is a 'pure' Pintail (The only one in south england at the time the picture was taken).
