approx 3cm x 3cm in size. Single wasp flew out of the nest' and was a typical looking yellow and black 'stinging wasp'. Is this a solitary species, will the nest get bigger and will it be joined by more wasps. Should I be concerned and get rid of it?

superfastferry.

great shot. just took a photograph myself. i am told it's a Hornet. The first stage of building a new colony, keep an eye on it, as being the first stage, it will increase in size.

member's, please correct me should i be wrong.
