Thanks! The 500mm reflex doesnt always get a good press and I've found it easy to get bad photos but with the extra light from the late afternoon sun combined with a tripod and cooperative subject sometimes you get a winner. I've been working with the lens hand-held now the sun seems to have returned occasionally and I'm amazed at the results with the SteadyShot on. Its a really handy lens to carry around a park or woodland once you've figured out how to get the best out of it.
